How we take best pictures

"It's not the quantity, but the quality of the pictures" remarks Norbert Schramm. The packages are designed with the artist in mind. We care about the results as much as you do, and we don't have time limits for our sessions. Generally a photo session takes around 2-3 hours, about one hour per look and another hour for makeup & hair. Since the shoot is digital, you will be able to view pictures as we shoot.

Please be aware, it's not the quantity of pictures we take, it's the quality. We enjoy a very relaxed outdoor location (weather permitting) atmosphere while shooting and in order to make you feel more comfortable we encourage you to bring a friend, if you like. As a result, your headshots become an effective marketing tool to get you work!

Preliminary Consultations

We only shoot on location or outdoors using natural lighting for natural pictures. We use our office at Upper West Side as our base camp for the photo sessions. Being prepared is the key

How do you prepare? We talk about that in depth during your consultation. Maybe you can answer yourself the questions: "Who am I?" with an answer like: "I really want to be an actor", or "I really want to be a model." Well - we'll help you and support you with outstanding action images for your next comp card.

Professional makeup can be an extremely important element in achieving great results

Using professional makeup makes a huge difference to your headshots. You can arrive at the photo shoot camera-ready or alternately bring a stylist. Some makeup artists include light hair, some offer more extensive hair services for an additional fee. Be aware, we all want your face and especially your eyes to be the focal point of your image. Please discuss those specifics directly with the makeup artist you are considering.

What to wear for a headshot, photography session?

You are responsible for your own wardrobe. Unlimited wardrobe changes are permitted during the session. Two or three options are recommended. The more looks you choose, the wider the range of options you'll have for your next job and model comp card. It's very important to wear clothes that you are comfortable in. Clothes, that help you to be yourself. We can work with any color or patterned material you bring.
